中國體育博物館于1990年第十一屆亞洲運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)開幕之日建成并對(duì)外開放,坐落于國家奧林匹克體育中心東南側(cè),是中國第一家國家級(jí)體育類綜合性博物館,隸屬國家體育總局。
館內(nèi)收藏體育文物藏品一萬余件(套)。藏品種類豐富,涉及自春秋時(shí)代(公元前770年-公元前476年)到當(dāng)代的中國體育文物,奧運(yùn)會(huì)、亞運(yùn)會(huì)等國際大型賽事的火炬、獎(jiǎng)牌、吉祥物、服裝器材、文獻(xiàn)資料,中國運(yùn)動(dòng)員在國際、國內(nèi)賽事中取得優(yōu)異成績及重大突破的見證物,國際體育交往的禮品等。舉辦的主題展覽重點(diǎn)圍繞:中國古代體育、近代體育、中華人民共和國體育成就、奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)和民族傳統(tǒng)體育。
新時(shí)代,中國體育博物館立足藏品,通過講述文物背后的故事,向觀眾傳播中華體育文化,弘揚(yáng)中華體育精神、奧林匹克精神,為促進(jìn)中外文明交流互鑒作出更大貢獻(xiàn)。
CHINA SPORTS MUSEUM
Located on the southeast of the National Olympic Sports Center in Beijing (PRC), China Sports Museum (CSM) was completed and open to the public in 1990, on the occasion of the 11th Asian Games. As the first comprehensive sports museum at the national level, it is affiliated with the General Administration of Sport of China.
The Museum houses more than 10,000 pieces(sets) of various sport collections, ranging from the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) to the present, covering a series of torches, medals, mascots, clothing, equipment, books, historical documents of the Olympic Games, Asian Games and other international matches; valuable objects of Chinese athletes that witnessed major breakthrough in the Chinese sports history; precious gifts in the international sport communication added to the collections were particularly spectacular. The thematic exhibitions mainly included “Chinese ancient and modern Sports”, “Sports Achievements of the PRC”, “Olympic Movement” and “Traditional Chinese Sports”.
In the New Era, as always, CSM is committed to telling the stories behind the collections, to play a greater role in spreading Chinese sports culture, promoting the Olympic spirit &Chinese sportsmanship, and enhancing international understanding and cultural dialogue.
