技巧動作,是一項具有民族特色的傳統(tǒng)運動形式。它的原始形態(tài)是由人類自身的勞動實踐所決定的。隨著社會文化的發(fā)展,以中國古代百戲中倒立、柔術(shù)和翻筋斗為主要內(nèi)容的技巧,逐漸地日趨豐富起來。在歷史的長河中所凝煉成的技巧的高難動作和多樣的運動形式,成了中國古代體育活動的重要組成部分。

It flourished in the various dynasties during the past millennium and embarked on a new stage of development in the early fifties of this century.
